Conversations and monologues exploring how work can be part of our self-care. An exploration of how we can improve our quality of life by remembering that we work to create a living. Work gives us a sense of purpose and fulfilment, but the way we work means we are left with the dregs of ourselves. We have very little energy left to create a purposeful and fulfilling life. This creates a dynamic where we rely on work and toxic levels of productivity for our sense of worth and purpose. Nobody leaves this life wishing they had worked more! We’ve got to live whilst we are alive and I think changing the way we work is an integral part of this. I don’t have the answers, this podcast is likely to leave you with more questions than you had before and think that’s a good thing. It gives us the chance to consider how we can create something new.

Welcome to my 3rd solo episode - Three Sixty Monologues.
This week I am talking about the importance of meeting your needs and how not meeting them can prevent you from doing the things you WANT to do and lead to overwhelm.
I didn't answer questions this week as I had a lot to say! In this episode I referred to Maslow's hierarchy of needs.
I mentioned Le'Nise Brothers @eatlovemove, Ash Cole @slashbeautyldn, Lucy Sheridan @Lucysheridan, Steph Douglas @steph_dontbuyherflowers you can read Steph's overwhelm blog post here and Emma Svanberg @mumologist.
I shout out @Lucysheridan. Lucy is a very good egg who generously shares knowledge and information that assists all areas of personal development with a focus on Comparison. Lucy is the worlds first and possibly only Comparison Coach. Her work has ended up on the Oprah Winfrey show where she was casually chatting to Oprah and Iyanla Vanzant about comparison. Lucy facilitated a workshop at my last day retreat called Compassion over Comparison where she guided people to think about the genesis of their comparison and how to be more compassionate with themselves. It was a really deep and meaningful workshop that got us all thinking and awakening. This is not an ad, I am mentioning this because I think Lucy is the real deal, on this Wednesday 13th March Lucy is hosting one of her Comparison Free Workshops. Its a virtual workshop so you don't have to leave your home and you are likely to gain loads. You can find out more here and connect with Lucy on instagram here.
The next Three Sixty Everyday Joy Day Retreat takes place on 08/06/19 in London. Click here for more information and booking.
