Conversations and monologues exploring how work can be part of our self-care. An exploration of how we can improve our quality of life by remembering that we work to create a living. Work gives us a sense of purpose and fulfilment, but the way we work means we are left with the dregs of ourselves. We have very little energy left to create a purposeful and fulfilling life. This creates a dynamic where we rely on work and toxic levels of productivity for our sense of worth and purpose. Nobody leaves this life wishing they had worked more! We’ve got to live whilst we are alive and I think changing the way we work is an integral part of this. I don’t have the answers, this podcast is likely to leave you with more questions than you had before and think that’s a good thing. It gives us the chance to consider how we can create something new.

This episode is the audio from an Instagram live monologue on the mother wound and how it is showing up for mid-life women. I talk about women outsourcing their power because they are seeking mothering and highlight that they mothering being sought can only come from within.
I also invited you to sign up for my last 'open' digital women's circle on Thursday 28th May 2020 at 7am BST via zoom. Sign up here. The topic is, "Breathing vitality into your life".
