Conversations and monologues exploring how work can be part of our self-care. An exploration of how we can improve our quality of life by remembering that we work to create a living. Work gives us a sense of purpose and fulfilment, but the way we work means we are left with the dregs of ourselves. We have very little energy left to create a purposeful and fulfilling life. This creates a dynamic where we rely on work and toxic levels of productivity for our sense of worth and purpose. Nobody leaves this life wishing they had worked more! We’ve got to live whilst we are alive and I think changing the way we work is an integral part of this. I don’t have the answers, this podcast is likely to leave you with more questions than you had before and think that’s a good thing. It gives us the chance to consider how we can create something new.

About Nehanda Trustcott-Reid:
Nehanda Truscott Reid is Holistic Wellness coach for women on the sacred path of motherhood. Through Soul Mama she supports women from preconception onwards to move towards more balance, alignment and energy.
With the loss of 'the village' many modern western women experience motherhood as isolating, overwhelming and exhausting but with more awareness, intention and conscious choices, it doesn’t have to stay this way.
Nehanda’s healing modalities include Soul Food, Soul Flow and Soul Care and are based on an understanding of energy and African centred spirituality. She believes motherhood holds the opportunity for our greatest awakening and transformation, if we can open to it. She also runs the Soul Mama Circle, a space for mothers to come together in sisterhood to share, heal and grow.
